    PX Tools Enscape Deployment

I'm trying to get Enscape setup using the PX Tools and am not getting the switches for the installer to work... Has anyone had any luck with that?

    I currently have:

    Code:
    <Machine>
    <Install id="Enscape" type="exe2">\\network path to installer</Install>
    <Arguments>start /W /S /AllUsers /Revit=1 /SketchUp=0 /Rhino=0 /ArchiCAD=0 /SuppressFirstStepsWindow=1 /qb /passive /norestart </Arguments>
That is all based on this article: https://enscape3d.com/knowledgebase/...ogram-options/ I have a similar setup for Keynote Manager that works correctly, so I'm not quite sure where the issue actually is...

I'll bite - what's the difference between <Arguments> and <ArgumentList>? I'm not seeing anything on the site...

Might not be a difference. Mine.might be leftover from experimenting. Maybe it's just Arguments now. But mine still works.

Here is mine, slightly different way to do it. I used the <Executable> tag with the <Arguments>... Now that I am seeing your examples, I need to add the /Suppress switches.

hrm. I did find this (notepad++ find in files ftw!):
    Code:
    ...\PxFunctions_Tasks.psm1
    Line 10569: # <Resource> and <Arguments> are dependednt on <Executable>

    ...\Px_Resources.xml
    Line 17: <ArgumentList>/x$(uninstallGUID) $(SilentMode)</ArgumentList>
    ... plus a bunch more
Looks like it is a matter of syntax, and probably one of the differences between 3.3 & 3.4.

Not quite sure what the difference is between the two methods, but I did get everything to install using the above. Thanks

I literally dont think there is a difference. Im betting he called it ArgumentList when he was building the new methods, and then changed it to Arguments. And then he was nice, and left both in there so i dont get screwed, since im playing with his stuff while he builds it. LMAO
