    Hello all,
I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or just add it to here so here it is.
I'm using Revit with Enscape which is such a terrific combination. I'm about to pull the trigger on VR Googles but am having last minute panic. LoL
There's a great deal on the Occulus Rift and Touch controllers that ends today, but I was also looking in to the HTC Vive just in case.
They seem to be somewhat equal except for the price. The reviews I've read switch sides from one to the next as to which is better while saying they're both great.
The main differences I seem to come across are the the Vive it heavier on the head yet is more adjustable for people with glasses. Initially it seemed to be the leader until Occulus came out with Touch which leveled the playing field.

Does anyone here happen to have experience with both???

We only have the oculus here, but I've always had the impression that more of the developers preferred the vive. Can you give a little more info on why you say that?

I think the Vive is in terms of room scale VR slightly superior, but for many cases that does not matter a lot. The Oculus headset feels more comfortable for many users and while the little black tracking camera is not as fancy as the Vive trackers, it's pretty handy: You can carry it into a meeting room very quickly and do not have to set up a whole VR room. This is also the reason why we usually do not bring the Vive to our booth at trade fairs.

ENSCAPE v 1.9 release is launched and I can┤t try Enscape again without watermarks. Is there any special procedure?.
    Thanks in advance.

We've been using it at the office for quite some time and it's insane. We've been using it for both doing "okay quality renderings" (as a replacement for sketchup+vray) as conceptual images.

it's not so much the overall rendering quality that won us over (although it's getting amazingly good) but especially ease of use, navigation etc. It's like playing a game. It's come to the point that first thing I do when a survey comes in, is launch Enscape. So much more fun to check it out while flying through the spaces rather then section boxing through it in Revit.
