    Adobe PDF Printing Issue

I am having trouble Plotting the PDF files from REVIT 2019 full version with ADOBE PDF.

    1. I tried plotting multiple sheets together and it does plotted first sheet but after that it freezes unit I end task from Task Manager.
    2. I tried plotting one by one sheets but again it is potting first sheet perfect and freezes for the second one.
    3. I looked for several solutions online and did purge my file, deleted all of the %temp% files from my computer, had low resolution for plotting but stills it's same issue for me.

It will be really stress relieving if some one can guide me. It is very frustrating when you have to submit the drawing set to client and it takes more than 1.5 hr to just plot 15 sheets.

Please find attached screenshot of freezing tab.

    kinda more of a hack

    when u hit ctl alt+del

go to processes running and end the acrotray and your pdf should plot but u have to baby sit it

large numbers of sheets you may have to do this multiple times like 80 or so

I mean 80 sheets like maybe twice on this process

15 should only have to do this once

it may look like u crashed but u didn't it will take a bit to come back

I did Open the task manager. I can only see Acrotray option once I end revit.

Another hack is to use Ctrl+P instead of File-->Print.

I've never had any issues, but the Ctrl+p seems to be suggested quite often.

I am using Ctrl+P still it's the same. I feel like there is something wrong with Auto desk and Adobe collaboration.

Are you using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Pro?

You may want to try downloading PDF Creator...which is free. Also try editing the settings in Adobe to save to a specific directory instead of asking each time.

I am Using Acrobat DC. I do have path already assigned, it always asks me to confirm the file name before saving it.
I would first want to try solving it with Adobe PDF. Still will look for PDF creator.

Before you print, open one of the sheets. i.e. not on a view.
open print and set to adobe pdf
In adobe pdf properties turn off 'rely on system fonts only' and make your other selections like paper size and quality
Click ok and go back to printer screen
Set your sheet selection and all other preferences in settings etc.
Before you print, change print range to 'current window'
    Select preview
Preview comes up, then select top left print button on that preview and should take you back to the main printing window.
    Reselect your selected sheets button
    Print.
    All sheets should print now.
If you want them all in one document, just watch that pesky little radio button under file that selects between multiple and seperate pdf sheet creation. It tends to flip.

Been that way since 2016 or so.
hope this helps, been my workaround since then.
Still waiting on Autodesk to incorporate a PDF writer.
