    Visibility of fabric sheets

    Hey,

I have tried everything I know about visivility settings. But I still cant make the rebar that is parallel to the section visibile. As you can see on the screenshoot I can only see the bar that is cut. If I place the cursor on the parallel rebar it appears. I can make the slab transparent if I want to see the parallel rebars, but with that I get a lot of another problems, there must be an other solution.

I can see the parallel bar when i have the cursor on it.

The parallel bar is not visibile.

    But you haven't tried this:

    1) From the properties of the view, set the Hidden Lines Visibility property to "All". This will show the parallel bars of the fabric sheet as hidden lines.
    2) Optionally, if you want to change the hidden lines to solid lines, override the Hidden Lines subcategory of the Walls category (even if the fabric sheets are not in wall but in a floor).

Thank you Alfredo! That helped me to get the right visibility of the fabric sheets But it also apperad som strange hidden lines that I dont want to show, and I cant hide them with Linework for some reason. But I am closer to my goal and I will investigate it further

Glad to see that you got an answer to your question. Yes, I don't know why Autodesk didn't handle the visibility of fabric sheets in the same way as they did for rebars (with a Visibility Graphics options button, and a dialog box with a list of views and choices). Instead, for fabric sheets there's no VG button, and you have to use the Walls category, hidden lines subcategory, instead of the Floors category, hidden lines.
