I am so very new still to revit and not always sure if it behaves the way it should.
I have placed some tags on a structural plan but even though I tell it to be horizontal, it comes in diagonally.
    Any idea why?
I tried space bar and it just flicks it around 90 degrees.
    Regards

what type of tag and how are you telling it to be horizontal? Is it an OOTB tag or one that you have created??

    Hi Dave
Thanks for the reply. I am only using OOTB command. Hard enough already with just those.
I am using the tag by category from the QA toolbar and spec horizontal.
When placing the tag to my steel column it comes in at 45 degrees both on plan and elevations/sections. Spacebar will flick it to Vertical on the QA bar but only a 90 degree rotate on the plan and still at 45 degrees.
Using the 2019 version which I just installed (NZ version)

If you open the tag family, you should see that the label is set to 45 degrees. Rotate it to be horizontal, save as and load it in your project. Should do the trick.

    Thanks Alexo.
I have had the program for 4 years now but only just start to work with it.
I have loaded another tag into the file and that has fixed it.
