rebar to model or to detail

Good day, looking for some advice and input as to what others out there are doing.

For Reinforcing of concrete, do you model it or detail it.

I am with a structural consulting firm in Canada, and we are responsible for construction drawings, not fabrication drawings. I am of the mind set to not model it, only if really needed to show a specific section that may require advanced detailing.

    What do you think.

THis really comes down to LOD and what to model or what not to.

    Detail it.

Rebar should only be modeled when creating fabrication shop drawings, or for high level coordination and calibration.

I have been detailing reo all the time, can imagine managing all the changes that occur during the design process.
