    Column Schedules With Bent Member

    Hello,
We have a situation where we have a column that will have a bend in it. However our column schedule shows the bent beam(good) but also shows a solid line for it going straight up(bad). Please see attached. How can we solve this to show the bend?

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

turn off "analytical model" in your graphic options, also edit the family and set that centreline (the straight one) which seems like a detail line to me to not be visible at "high" detail level and then set your view to high detail, that should hide it for you.

Thank you for the reply. We discovered it was actually that we needed to change the Family Category Parameters for Symbolic Representation to "From Family". Once we had that... it was golden.
