Changing Detail level of a single object?

Hopefully this isn't too silly of a question...

Does anyone know how to change what shows in a detail level for a wall type? I'd like the wall to show the layers ("fine"), but the header to still show as one line ("course").

    Thanks!

The only way I can think of is to edit the header family so it shows as a single line in fine detail level. You'll need to change the visibility settings for each component of the family. I'd name it as a new family so it doesn't mess up any other members in the project, or future projects.

You can change the detail level of model elements per view in the visibility graphics.

Dangit! I knew that! I tried to override graphics by element and it wasn't available.
