    Custom Plates Not Sloping

    Hey all,

I have created a couple of custom plates, a cap plate and an embedded plate for placing in plan views, but they will not rotate into position in order to show the sloped beam's flange aligning with the top face of the plate when it is sitting on top of a column.

Attached is an image of the problem.

I've created these custom plates using the generic model template for family creation and loading bolt or anchor family into the plate family.

Any ideas on how I would go about being able to have my custom plates slope in order to show them properly in section views?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Is the 'always vertical' option ticked in the family editor?
