extrusion constrains to reference plane due to eq dimensions

Hey guys, when setting out two reference plane with eq dimension, my extrusion which is not associated to anything sticks to the reference planes . is this a glitch? I like how it does it, but i don't understand how it's sticks.

Revit has lots of default behaviours that make things want to join together. Go to VG / annotations and turn on temporary dimensions (or something like that). This will display how revit by default thinks it should act on your elements.
I would suggest purposefully constraining your elements as default behaviour could change depending on other elements in the project, and either break or make your stuff act weird.

Shout out to Paul Aubin for teaching me the temp dimension thing.

So doing this instead of constraining it properly is not a good idea? haha rhetorical question sorry
