    Concrete beam won't join

Hello, iv'e managed to create a beam just the way we need to (including grips and stuff). Only thing is we can get it to join others/similar beams. Does anyone know how this might be fixed?

    thanx in advance

revit is very exacting with this the surface & cut pattern must be the same as what you are joining it to as well as the materials for them to join with out lines as you are expecting

are they exactly the same height and width any small difference between the two will cause a line where u would want them to join
