1. ## Parameters.....Need assitance

Hey everyone, I have got some questions about parameters and what i can actually accomplish. I have given an image below for and example and the highlighted areas are what id like to give associated ranges to.
First off i wanna make multiple copies of the family, 2WG, 3WG, 4Wg, etc.
for instance if my height or depth is 0-14 i want my connectors to know it is S & Drive, and if its 15-26 that it is T-bar, as well as if one side (width or Height is equal to those arranged numbers it will give both connector name 1 & 2, S & Drive or T-bar.
Also the gauge is based on another factor of numbers as well so i want to somehow get these to use a formula to give the right answer

Is there a way to do this, I do know geometry is involved somehow but i am ignorant on that subject. Is there an easier way to have revit figure these out. We do use sysque but even then it makes our job a mess when it enters there generics into our routing preferences so i want a work around so basically all i have to do is manually break the duct up into our set lengths and then send it to he fab shop.

Any advice or assistance will be helpful, i am spending each day slowly researching and trying to understand revit yet im a noob.

3. ## Parameters

I need to know if there is a way to enter different varibles for the connector types to be based on the width and depth

4. You can use various IF THEN ELSE formula's in your parameters, so yes possible but might be a bit of work.
Something like IF (Width = 6 AND Depth = 7, X, Y)

So in this case if the width is 6 and the depth is 7 the value will be X if not then it will be Y. And you can use nested IF statements too.

But I can better point you to the 'Revit Formulas for "everyday" usage' thread, Munkholm is much better in explaining it then me.
