    Question need a solution with an angle issue

    hey guys,

    I want to start my angle at 90° and finish at 0°, and in between I want to subtract 1.81, so when i set it to 45 degree it will be 43.19.

    any idea how to achieve this?

    cheers.

    if(angle<0+x, 0, if(angle>90-x, 90, x))

    Thank you Ekkonap. 0-90 degrees works, but in-between theses degrees needs -1.81 so when i change it to 45 it should automatically change to 43.19 or if i change it to 30 degree it be 28.19, but changing it back to 0 or 90 it should not substrate 1.81.

    Use an Or statement and a calculation parameter:
    Using logical OR
    IF ( OR ( x = 1 , y = 2 ) , <true>, <false>)
    Returns <true> if either x=1 or y=2, else <false>
    if(or(Angle=90,Angle=0),Angle,Angle-1.81)

    Thank you so much Bender. I really really need to get my head around these formulas.

    The parameter that controls the geometry in the family needs to be the one with the formula. If you look at my example the annotation that constrains the reference line is AngleControl, not Angle
