Adding parameters to dimensions in Revit

    Afternoon,

This may be a long shot, but has anyone ever had any success with adding parameters to the actual dimensions in Revit?

I'm wanting to add a parameter to the aligned dimension style but having no such luck in the minute.

If anyone has any ideas on whether or not this can be done that would be great!

    Cheers

If you are referring to dimensions in a project like we can in the family editor, that can only be done with in-place families. You can apply some parametric logic to a dimension string using the Equality settings. It will allow a dimension to report something like 6 @ 8'-0" = 48'-0" for example.
