spread footing with base plate issue

I have problem with the top of a spread footing not attaching to the bottom of a column I have done a save as on the otb family and added the firm that I work for typical grout and base plate layout and have it fully working with the parameters that I need anchor bolts and all the only problem that I have is that revit sees the top of the anchor bolts as the top of the footing not the base plate any ideas on how to fix this

Hi. You need to select the reference plane at the top of your base plate and check "Is reference" parameter. It should be "Top". Then load you family in project and try to change "Base Offset" parameter of column. I think it should be work properly

I've never tried adding the base plate to the footing family. It has always been added to the column families as a shared nested component. Anyways, you could try to define the RP that is the top of your place as the Is Reference "Top". I doubt it will work but worth a try.

Does removing the anchor bolts move the bot of the column to the base place?

It will work fine even with anchors if you change Is Reference to Top

either group them and constrain the group to the reference planes or nest the nut into the family and constrain the reference planes.
