Rebar mats / Bar mats - modeling

Hello, Im trying to model rebar mats (prefabricated rebar nets). Is there a way to model it as parametric family? Cuz rebar diameter and distance between them changes and depends on mat type.

I know about area reinforcement but in this project i need to use rebar mats. Thank you.
