    In-Place Family Parameter in Multi-Category Schedule?

    I cannot get the parameter to show up as an available field. For example, I make a 3D rectangle and label one of the dimensions "L1." It shows up in the object's "Dimensions" property box, but...

    In order to schedule it needs to be a Shared Parameter. Don't know if you can actually do this using an In-Place since I don't use those...

    Turns out you can. I got hung up on somehow I thought I needed to create some .txt file or something, but didn't need to.
