    Move fan electrical connector

I need to move the electrical connector of this fan, which is too far away from the wall. Can somebody point me out how to move the electrical connector?

Connectors are always placed on a face and automatically center themselves in the middle point of the chosen face.
If you select the connector you might be able to select a different host face. Otherwise delete it and place a new one where you want it.
If necessary create a small extrusion to put it on, which you can move to the right place.

You can also use Split Face to create a surface for the connector to avoid the extrusion.
