    Shared Parameter Category

    Hi All,

I am creating a title block for a new client and I have created some new Shared Parameter labels for the project information and sheet information.

I have most of them working, however there are some that I want to add to the "Drawing Sheet" category in the project, however when I load the shared parameters into the project, the Drawing Category isn't listed.

    Any ideas why?

There is no "Drawing Sheet" category. There is a "Sheets" category, instead, which is available only when the kind of parameter is "instance"; if you try to change the kind to "type", then "Sheets" disappears from the list. Maybe you're trying to use "type" parameters for sheets.

    Thanks Alfredo.
I thought I tried both and it wasn't available. I will have another look at it.
When you look through the "help" file it definitely says "drawing sheets" is a category..very wierd

In the project, create a Project parameter, browse for a shared parameter, select "instance", and "Sheets" will be on the list of available categories.

I think the name "Drawing Sheets" was used in previous versions of Revit, and that's probably why the help documents refer to that term.

Yep, until 2010 they were called Drawing Sheets...
