Is the line based family using a nested component (shader extrusion) or is the extrusion made in the line based families?

Arrays like to use nested components if you need to make the shape parametric.

Ok I'll try to explain it a little better

Thisi is the mother line based family with the structure of the panel done with an array of a rectangular shape

03_Quindi lo seleziono per il mio sweep

Here I insert my line based son family, the wing of the brise soleil

then I lock it to the internal part of the panel

And as long as it is alone everything works fine, it flexes good

But when i do an array

It give me an error, and explodes

I also tried to put a strong reference in the left and right reference plane of the son family but with no gain

06_Inserisco quindi la famigli line based dell'ala

I'll keep responding to this one, since nobody has responded to the other thread.

I recreated your family and was also unable to make it flex properly. Create the shader family as a generic model, not as a line-based family. The length parameter in a line-based family does not like to be nested and controlled in the parent family.
