    Hi Simone,

I think you are going to struggle with this one with members here. All of my families have been upgraded twice since 09.
I suspect that this would also be the case for most others on subscription.

The are a few older ones in the download section of cadforum.cz http://www.cadforum.cz/catalog_en/?fo=RFA&cat=64&page=1
Likewise, you could have a look at the download section of RevitCity http://www.revitcity.com/downloads.p...mf04_l2_id=146 there seems to be a fair bit of stuff there.

    Cheers,

I´d strongly recommend to purchase the RPC content from www.archivision.com

Thanx guys, maybe I'll find some cool ones on Sketchup or something. I have to deal with the different taste of the directors, aargh.
    No worries.

I would strongly caution against using any sketchup elements in revit at any time. I have found that they add a huge burden on the model.

The company behind RPC used to have a free app that let you make your own limited RPCs from bitmaps.

I made some non-photoreal trees a long time ago using it. It's pretty cool, you just feed it the images you care about and it makes an .RPC for you!

It looks like if you register you can download it still. Here's a good blog post about it:
    http://whatrevitwants.blogspot.com/2...c-creator.html

But if your designers just have to have their own trees it's one route you can look into.

One other thing you HAVE to do is edit the existing RPC trees that come with Revit and give them some sort of Material parameter so that you can make them not be that hoooorible default grey in all views but rendered. Use a nice semi-transparent green instead and you get a great effect!

    Hi Jeffrey,

I don't think Archvision has the free content creator any more (or at least, I couldn't find it on their site - logged in as a registered user). They do have the RPC Content Creator Pro $399 available for download.

    Cheers,

Well that's a shame. That blog post is a year old or more.

They do have an 'all you can eat' deal now. Never really been fond of how they do their DRM tho.

    Gentlemen,
I understand this is an old post, being brought up again. I found that ArchVision does still have a free RPC creator. Here:
    ArchVision.com

I've downloaded it, but have absolutely no idea what I am doing. Does anyone know of a good training resource? I have searched for an hour now, and not found anything decent.

    Thanks
