Linked Revit File - Show In More Detail

I have a Revit Model from an architect which I have linked into our project so I can begin adding M&E services to it.

I have created a couple of 3D views of the model to help me coordinate my services.

The model when linked shows as grey in colour and not in much detail (just a thin line), is there any way to enhance the detail of linked models.

    Thank You

Sounds like it's set to a different phase. You can set the phase filter to Show Complete to show everything. You should also try selecting the link and going to "phase mapping" under the type properties. Make sure all the phases are setup correctly between the projects.

OK I have done both as you suggested but I still get a faint building model. I am wondering if this is supposed to happen sort of like autocad does with Xrefs, bringing them in faint.

I would just like to know how I get the building to look as it does on the architects model, but when linked in. Colours etc.

Try changing your view discipline to Coordination and your visual style to Shaded.
