Good news! So in addition to recent addition of "supporting" screenshot outputs - yesterday's preview release (9th Jan) gives us .exr format exports for screenshots! Not familiar with the format myself so downloading now and gonna give it a go...

Nice work, personally I don't mind the night shot but I agree the sky looks a bit gloomy..
I have been watching some youtubes about enscape lately, and I saw one guy uses additional light-sources to illuminate his scenes nicely.
Also did you try setting your time and date to an equinox, and at about 6pm, gets the best results in most cases as it drops the light intensity to a nicer level. Ie not so many hot spots.

I do like the 6pm, but the owner is very concrerned with what the look is at night.

Could you add some generic lighting behind the building to at least somewhat simulate the ambient lighting from adjacent structures? That would help tone down the contrast between the lighting and the not-lighting, since the overall lighting level will be higher.

Hi Scott, I don't know whether you've read this piece on the Enscape webpage. i know it's for interiors but it might be pertinent to the type of rendering you're after.
