Nested Materials not Rendering & Stained Glass

I'm working on an old church and having trouble getting the stained glass in the windows to render at all. The windows are all hung windows (double / single) and I have a separate material for the top & bottom panes and everything looks correct in a realistic mode viewport - but when rendered I get nadda. I would guess it has something to do with the material itself but I'm stumped, short of recreating them all as a generic material rather than a glass material.

The second part of the problem is that the materials are offset from the object when mapped and I have to manually adjust the map position which is... annoying to say the least - especially since the map should take up the entirety of the glass pane with no repeat.

    Any guidance is most appreciated!

Thanks. I've seen it before and the only difference between his material and my material are the properties under appearance. For some reason I don't have all of the transparency settings - which gets back to having to recreate each material. I was hoping there would be a magic bullet answer but it doesn't look that way

I just created this one.... Since my window is 4' Diameter I had to adjust the picture 2' both X & Y so it would center. That is if I have Tile selected.
Not using Tile, the bottom left corner is centered on the window, so I had to adjust -2'.-2' accordingly for the image to center.

Transparency is set at 80 in the pic...

Maybe I don't understand something - but without Tile selected shouldn't the image center up automatically? That makes more sense to me than having to manually adjust it

That is what I thought, until I noticed it was making the lower left corner the origin.

Don't even try to understand Revit's UV mapping! I have found it is usually the lower left hand corner but, honestly, I feel like it is still trial and error every time I do something different.... Did you get the transparency settings?

You started with the glazing material... If you notice in my video I change to the wire glazing material to start... That allows all the extra settings...

    Seriously...

For some reason I didn't have the wire glazing - but if I create a new material I get all the options I need and it seems to work.

    Thanks

Agreed. Sometimes it's centered, sometimes it's lower-left, sometimes it seems random.

Yup, that was going to be my next suggestion... Start with a new generic material and you will have all the options. As long as you have a baseline (such as my video) for the correct transparencies and reflections to get it to look like glazing.
