    RPC - Archivision Dashboard 2.0

For those of you that use RPC's, I just downloaded the Dashboard 2.0 Beta. Full drag and drop capabilities! Gone are the days of creating a new type, editing it, finding the correct car or tree. Just drag it into your scene. Done.

It also has a search feature and one click downloads. Cars, for example. It shows every available car. If the icon is blue, you have it. If it's red, just click on it to download it. It's that simple. You can also customize the download path and library path (mine are on my network). I've just started using it, but so far so good.

It should be available soon. I suggest you check it out if you use RPC's a lot. And, I have no stake in Archvision at all. Just a customer that got a hold of the beta version.

It is. I asked if I could talk about it.

Sounds great. Have you got a link to download it from? I'm having all sort of trouble with the current version of Dashboard and would love to try this.

I actually had to call support for a separate issue, and they mentioned they had it. I told them I'd like to test it and they sent it to me. So, I'd call support and ask if you can test it as well.

Cool thanks. I emailed them (due to me being in Australia) and they said that they have a new build coming out tomorrow and will send me a link.

Yep, new version should be out in a few days (just talked to them today). They gave me the link, so anybody can run the BETA now. Scroll down to the bottom.

The only issue I've had (which is supposed to be fixed with the next release) is the dashboard and Revit losing communication. It gives you an error when you try to drag an RPC in. But, restarting Revit fixes it, until it happens again.
