    Revit to 3DSMax

    not specifically Revit related but -

    when linking a Revit file into Max all the RPC content comes in as a placeholder rather than the RPC. Is there some way to carry over or link the RPC to Max so I don't have to re-place an entire building site worth of stuff?

    You cannot go backwards in Revit. Period

    Too much is different and will be lost...like functionality, tools, objects...

    *cough* split thread *cough*

    Only way to do it is export from 2012 to FBX and import your FBX into the old version. You lose EVERYTHING that makes the model intelligent though. Not worth the effort.
