Importing cad files to create a revit toposurface

sometimes cad drawing level lines are different just at elevation (vertical land). When I import this kind a surface to create a revit toposurface, it doesn´t consider the lines overlapping and the result is a different surface. The toposurfaces are different frrom cad and revit

They draw at a different scale? I've done it for road profiles, but usually the surface is 1:1.

I tend to request points and input those vs grabbing the SRF-LINES or Contours. Recently I had some issues as the contours followed up the side of a wall so that made things interesting.
