    Revit Tutoring/Courses & Advice

    Hello everyone,

I am in the ACM (Aluminum Composite Material), metal exterior/interior cladding, business and I am looking for advice on where to get training for Revit. As of right now, online options seem to be my best bet because the schools in my area either don't offer Revit, or I would have to enroll in a 4 year program at a major university as a transfer student. I really don't want to go through all of that AGAIN, haha.

I have experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, & ProEngineering, so I am know how CAD programs work. I just want specialized training in Revit. Has anyone else here had any good experiences with either online classes or have found a college/university that would allow you to take classes just for specific courses?

Thanks in advance for any help!

hey Jeff, welcome to RFO!! You would probably get more hits on your question if it was posted in the Architectural and General Revit Questions forum. If you like I can move this post there, let me know. And, the journey begins

I looked at Lynda.com and thought it would be beneficial. Do you know anything about pluralsight.com? I was given sign in info from one of my bosses and I navigated around it a bit but it doesn't really seem like a tutoring website but more of a "here's how to do something" kind of gig. I may be completely wrong with that assumption though.

Oh and as far as my Revit knowledge. I can somewhat navigate around the UI and I can draw a basic wall that's about it haha.

You could also try BimScape, Ian there has a full free beginners tutorial course, excellent stuff.

For Lynda.com, check with your local library system to see if they have access for library patrons.
