by linked view, by linked view, by linked view

I have a project that is a dozen 2 storey townhouses with a 20 storey tower over, that is using by linked view, by linked view, by linked view. Yes that is 3x by linked view. EG. kitchen joinery project (annotated views) > apartment project> interior design project > documentation master project, for sheets. This job has over 70 Revit project files to coordinate.

The reason I'm given is "a robust model".

    FML.

No, each VT just will have RVT links unchecked and the linked views need to be set per view. There's around 30 -35 apartment files across 5 typical floors. But when you start to count the view types....Good thing I have been granted a resource to help do the legwork.

What's not funny is...I've just been told this project has finally had a builder appointed and it should be coming back online in the next few weeks. God help me.

That totally sucks. I mean, having to work with that file. Not that the job finally went forward.

Sent from my Phablet. Please excuse typos... and bad ideas.
