Cool Must have add-ins for Revit?

Hello all, I'm consulting with an MEP consulting firm here in Dallas. I'd like to hear some of your "must have" add-ins and extensions for Revit. It doesn't have to necessarily be MEP related. I'm looking for paid apps as well as freebies - doesn't bother me any. This company is a die hard AutoCAD firm with a lot of CAD drafters. They're now needing to jump into Revit and I'm assisting them with a project.

Just wanting to hear some feedback from the community. Looking to take this info back to them and let them decide what's best for their designers. Revit OOTB isn't the most fun for AutoCAD to Revit transitions, so anything that financially makes sense to have immediate efficiency will help.

    Thanks in advance!

The one I really like and use every day multiple times is Xrev Transmit (https://www.xrev.com.au/).
Pretty sure I had a ROI after the first day.

    • Something to manage shared parameters: Spectrum, CTC BIM Manager etc
    • Keynote Manager - I use KM+ which has the integrated Revit palette but it isn't necessary to have (and Steve is a swell guy.) Keynote Manager - Features
    • Align - https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Det...en&os=Win32_64
    • Something to create Fill Patterns - Hatch22, HatchKit etc
    • I'm a big fan of this little guy to renumber views on a sheet: https://lmnarchitects.com/tech-studi...port-renumber/
    • Something to help renumber type / mark parameters: CTC Project Suite, DCTools etc
    • Dynamo
    • A lot of people use a third party program for working with Excel - can be CTC's tools, Ideate or others. Prices vary wildly with them.

    Hi!

I recommend you guys this add-in we have been working on for a while.

It is a very helpful tool to extract data from your REVIT models in an easier way. You can save time and effort when you have to check your model's standards compliance.

It gets all the data in an Excel spreadsheet for easy review and control.

    Get it for free here:
    CorbisSniffer

    Hope you find it useful!
