Hello, I am not an architect or Revit user. I am an old network administrator who wants to help my architect client get the most out of Revit.

Hi All, I am retired but use Autocad occasionally. Because of only using it occasionally and due to my age/forgetfulness I tend to have problems. Prior to my retirement, I had several Engineers and draftsmen that were very competent working for me and could help me out working when I had a problem. Retirement changed all of that.

I will post my problem later and be most grateful for any help.

    Regards,

    Don Gryder

Hi Don and welcome to the forum. If you are looking for AutoCAD help you might be better served getting on the Autodesk or AUGI AutoCAD forums. This forum is specifically for Revit users. Although to be honest, so many of us came from the AutoCAD world we could probably help with your issue. Oh, as one who is about to also retire I hear you about forgetfulness issues. Thank God for PostItNotes

Hi Ana92 and welcome to the forum. There have been several recent threads in RFO regarding the downloading of furniture families. I suggest that you do a Search for "furniture" as a start. If that isn't fruitful for you then you may want to post your question in the Architecture and General Revit Questions forum as you'll get much more attention there.

Hello. I'm a BIM/CAD Tech of a new design team for a design/build construction company. I am returning to Revit after a 5 year hiatus with an architectural firm that only used AutoCAD, so I am a tad bit rusty. I look forward to rebuilding my Revit knowledge at Revit Forum and welcome any subscription topic advice that anyone has to offer. Thank you...glad to be here.
