That is a sad thing, Autodesk wants to monopolize the Revit trademark but THEY DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE that benefits this helpful site, I guess they are trying to being the only Revit site, personally I believe that the official Autodesk forums STINKS and are full of people that calls itself as gurus, etc, but when you need a community dispose to help you they are not!!!, guy all my support is for you!!, best regards from Colombia and good luck with this stupid legal issue.

Could it be because we're using the same "R" logo that appears on Revit's application menu?

I don't understand why some companies sue their own customers. Music labels, movie studios, and now Autodesk. Maybe I'm naive, but it sure seems like they are living in the past when they act like this.

I generally avoid doing business with companies that do this sort of thing. Since I use Autodesk products professionally, I'll have to start making gradual changes to separate myself from them.

They are, but then so is our industry. Revit didn't even take off till Autodesk bought it and proceeded to ruin it. That mentality of waiting till the 800 pound gorilla weighs in is basically us in the overall AEC industry giving Autodesk permission to be fools. Short of a percentage of users moving to another product, and I mean a percentage that gets the notice of stock analysts, they really have no incentive to behave any differently.

Put an Autodesk A on the gunman's head, and then get a few hundred of us to switch avatars in Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn and such, and we might just have made a statement.
