Changes to the Admin team at RFO...

It´s with deep and sincere regret that we´re announcing that Iru69 has chosen to retire from his position as an Admin on this forum. Iru69 made it clear from the beginning, that while he would be more than willing to help get RFO going, he would not be able to stay long at the position. Iru69 has been of indispensable help and support in getting this forum kicked off, and we will miss him a great deal on the admin team.

That said, Iru69 has promised not to become a complete stranger around here, and will still be checking in as a regular member of the forum.

Iru69! Thank you for everything you´ve done for this place <sniff>, and good luck with your new ventures.

But it´s not all bad! we´re proud to welcome Gordon Price on the admin team!

Gordon has agreed to take Iru69's spot, and even though it´s some pretty large shoes to fill, we can´t think of many who are as dedicated to helping the Revit Community in general, and this forum in particular.

Gordon! We are looking forward to having you on the team – And thank you, for doing this!

BTW, Iru69 wanted this to go off quietly, so the gun salutes and the national anthems have been canceled in the last minute.

Thanks Ian, and the rest of the Admins too! Lots of good work and effort behind the scenes has made RFO what it is, almost as much as the efforts of the membership on stage and in the audience. I'll try to be as good a stage hand as Iru.

Gordon, you have to jiggle the key in the lock for it to work. Oh, and the new guy buys the donuts.............

Iru, thanks for all the efforts in setting up this site. Do hope we will keep our hardware Guru around to comment on threads and questions. Gordon, good luck! Do you also have donuts with the glacing?

I want to express my gratitude to Iru69 for the time and effort he put in helping us to start up this forum. I am sorry to see him leaving, but I understand that he said in the beginning that he would be with us only for some time. I think the forum is a little child that is already walking on his own, and Iru helped us in getting this child to get up and and walk.

As I have said, I think this forum is already the best forum on Revit out there. At least it is the one I like the most. It has a better sense of community than the other two forums I have been to; maybe because it still smaller than those other two, or because it is just about Revit, or because we the users seem to know each other better, like in a small town.

I welcome Gordon Price in the administrators' team and I wish him good luck, patience, and success in helping us to raise this child, our dear 4 month old forum.

Oh, and thank you for the donuts.
