    Section lines

    Hello,

    Do sections have to be straight or can they jog, change direction, around. I can only seem to get them to be a straight line. Please help.

    Can they jog? Yes
    Can they change direction? No
    Can they go around? No

    To create a jog, select the section line; from the ribbon, find "Split segment".

      In order to create jogged sections first create a straight section through the area desired. Next select the section to modify it nad pick the Split Segment from the Ribbon panel. This changes the cursor to a knife blade where you can pick the section line segment and begin "joggin" it. Note that with both straight sections and jogged sections can both be "flipped" in the opposite direction they are pointing. To do this, select the section line, and near the section arrowhead will be a double arrow "flip" grip. Picking this will flip the direction of the section.

        Another tip, would be to rotate the section after it has been created. Simply use the Rotate tool to rotate in any direction.
