Filter on Family Name and Type in a Schedule

Hi,

When you set up a filter to use in a view or view template or can create a filter that filter on Family Name or type. But in a schedule you can’t actually create a filter on Family and Type name.
Are there any reason for this?

I believe it's just another one of those wonderful inconsistent quirks of Revit I'm afraid - like being able to use override the surface patterns of pipes with filters, but not by VG. :banghead:
