Piles not showing hidden lines through structural foundations

    Hi

I have tension piles which protrude through isolated foundations to a slab edge. The piles are visible below and above (ie within the slab edge) the isolated foundation. Within the slab edge they appear as hidden lines (as expected), and below the foundation they appear as solid lines (again, as expected). However, the pile cannot be seen within the isolated foundations, as a hidden line or anything else. When I try "hide element" on an isolated foundation, it disappears, but the pile still cannot be seen.

    Anyone encountered/solved a similar problem?

    Thanks

Make sure the top of the pile is between the cut range and bottom and not between the bottom and view depth.

Woops! Should have been clearer, I'm referring to a section view rather than a plan view.

How did you make your pile and foundation? You may need to unjoin geometry. Slabs tend to like to merge with elements and cut through them. This happens all the time with slabs.

          Join/Unjoin worked a treat. Thanks.
