There have been several requests by members for a jobs or career forum - that RevitForum.org could assist in matching up job opportunities with job seekers that are related to Revit.
There's one clear ideal which RFO wishes to maintain. That is to ensure that there is no blurring of RFO's primary focus of providing an avenue for Revit users worldwide to freely share their Revit related knowledge, experiences and questions without any implication of a commercial transaction.
However, there seems to be a desire for some mechanism by which members can let others know of what might be available. Thus, the creation of Career Corner.
Initially, this will be a fully moderated forum where each post will be viewed and approved by the moderators prior to going live in the public forum. The rules for this forum are very simple:
1. As a member, you may create a thread either providing clear information about work which you are offering, or know is available (and want to freely pass along), or to request work.
2. If you are providing information about work, you must clearly state if you work for the company or any related entity, or you're just freely passing along the information. We discourage simply providing links to employment agencies unless the employment agency is acting on behalf of your employer who is seeking additional staff.
3. If you are seeking work, you must state clearly which software applications you use (Revit should be one of them) and what type of work you are looking for. Please do not post your requested rates as any discussions about remuneration and or other conditions should be done directly, not in the public forums.
4. RevitForum.org, and its administrators and moderators, do not endorse any services or members who post here, and shall not be held responsible for the contents of the postings. Any member who posts in this forum expressly acknowledges that he or she is solely responsible for the information they provide in this forum.
Lets see how it runs for a while. We will set up a thread in the Forum Feedback forum for general comments on Career Corner.
