Revit Technology Conference- California- Who will be attending?

***EDIT: Folks- I pulled the general dialogue out of the RTC information post, so as not to clutter it up. This is the remaining thread, with Steves information posts left in the sticky. - Aaron

    Steve,
is the one in the US really May, or June? Hope to see a class list soon. It takes a while to get approval on things these days, and the early bird deadline is less than a month away.

    Thanks for posting,

I am actually somewhat conflicted, as I know I can't do both AU & RTC. I hope that RTC, lacking the autodesk marketing agenda, might have better classes with a broad scope. But the best part of AU is always talking with the Factory folks in the AEC Lounge, which of course will be absent from RTC.
The sad part is that LA is as much of a pit in my book as LV. Would have loved to see them do this in New Orleans, which is a much more enjoyable city, and could REALLY use the convention support. I like to see things have nice side effects like that. Maybe next year.

True, but San Diego is Gorgeous, which- i believe- is near Huntington Beach? Unless im mistaken...

Well, nearish. Like 100 plus miles of freeway, most of which is nasty with traffic 24x7, at least in LA. There are bits and pieces of LA area that aren't bad (especially if you want to do the Wright/Neutra/Schindler/Lautner architectural pilgrimage, which of course one should), but I prefer 100 plus years of history and rather less suburban sprawl. Still, better Huntington Beach than Chatsworth, eh?

EDIT: Aaron, I wonder if we should pull our little thread out of Steve's sticky? I think my question about dates is appropriate, but our digression probably should be a non sticky thread.
And by "we" I mean "you" and your administrator powers.

Whoops. I must be thinking of a different beach, one just south of Carlsbad. In either case, ill cross my fingers and ask nicely if i can attend. I'll have to see what my schedule is like. Hopefully not like it was during AU. I barley slept. :/

While there will be no Lounge, some of us (me) will be there....and teaching.

I'm gonna be there. Talking about BIM-to-Fab stuff. Very excited! Looking forward to going to a Revit-only conference. Should be a blast!

I am going to try to get to at least one of the days for the Oz event.

                    Cheers,
