    Callouts and detailing?

    I have a pier at a corner of a wall, with a column on top of the pier. I need to detail the pier; so, I created a Callout View of the corner.

    Now, in the Callout View, as I place Break Lines, the Break Line is not masking the parts of the wall I don't want to show up.

    Short of abandoning my Callout View (and creating a generic Drafting View,) how can I get my detailing to work the way I want it to? (In the attached image, the red arrows are pointing to the portion of wall I'm trying to hide.) :banghead:

    I had the exact same problem. Turns out I didn't realize I was in wire frame and not hidden line. I'd check that.

      d'oh!
      I just came back to update that I needed to put the callout into Visual Style: Hidden line, but Dan beat me to it!!! LOL!

        An overlook like that just makes you want to shut off the computer and go home, right? lol
