    Revit>aCAD drg standards

I have recently been given the task to produce CAD standards for 2D drawings which will be extracted from a Revit model. The superstructure model/drg's is being produced in my office, the substructure model/drg's is being produced in antother office AND the services, arch and drainage is being produced in another office....it is my task to make sure all drawings are consistent and working from the same CAD standards whilst making sure logs are kept of all users regarding their Revit input. It is a MUST that all separate Revit models fit (i.e. a baseplate should not overhang it's concrete plinth!!) and do not clash.

    Many thanks

You should understand that Revit exports to DWG are not the same as CAD documents produced in AutoCAD, and no amount of work you do will make them behave as such. They will not adhere to standard CAD practice, unfortunately. You will have to do a lot of manual CAD work after you make the export, if people are serious about them adhering to *CAD Standards.*
