I am creating a new phase for my rebar detailing, but right now every time a create a new view the phase defaults to "Show All". Is there a way to get this to default to "None"?

Maybe you should create a view template from the first one, then apply it to other views.
And also in the manage window for filters, you just have to check the option "apply to similar view ....".

It is a phase filter though, not a filter. Although a view template would work for this...was just hoping I could get it to change how it defalted instead of changing it after.Comment

This works well with plans...but I am not seeing using this on elevations and sections. I want to cut a section where I need it, not duplicate, go find it, then move it to where I want it.Originally posted by mark b View PostComment

Just a note, if you are in any sort of plan view you can't try to set the defaults of the view template of sections or elevations etc. if you try you will see the "Apply automatically to new views of same type" will be greyed out.Originally posted by mark b View Post

when cutting a section it will absorb the phase and phase filter of the view you're in, so as long as you have your plan set to None for your Phase Filter the section will default to that.Comment
