    UPDATE to Nervous, Anxious Friday...

Survived our debut Agility weekend! Denali had a blast. She was wild and crazy, as expected. However, she did have moments of greatness. No qualification ribbons for us this weekend. Though, one of the judges told me, "You have an awesome dog! When you two finally get it together, she's gonna blow it out of the water!"

On our very last run of the weekend, there was a photographer from the Anderson Independent. He snapped this shot of us:

I'll have more photos and I'll update this thread when I figure out where I'm going to post them. For those of you who are my FB friends, you can already see the ones I got from the professional photographers on site.

I have a friend here who has a 3 year old Aussie. If yours is like hers I don't know how you keep it going in a straight line. The most "active" dog I've ever been around. I don't do Facebook so I look forward to more pix here!
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

straight lines are definite issues for us!!! LOL!
Saturday, one of our courses was a set of 3 or 4 "pinwheel" jumps; for one pinwheel, you stand in the middle of 3 or 4 jumps and just direct your dog "Around!" them, then you go on to the next set... She's very good at that! Small tight circles are her forte!
Sunday, the courses were much more straight. She tends to get almost to the next jump then turns back toward me, barking, "What's next mom? Hurry up mom! C'mon mom! Let's go mom!" We'll be working on running straight lines in the next few weeks!
