You can turn off the extension line by unchecking the "Show extension line" when you edit the viewport type within your project. -

How to adjust the starting location of the line in the View Title
I want the View Title to start under the viewport, not to the left. When I open the view title family, I can only find the bubble, the title and the scale. I have checked all my view settings and cannot figure out where the separator line, that shows up on my sheets, comes from. I tried, in the view title family, moving the bubble, title & scale to the right, where I want it, but when I reload, that d*(&m line remains in it's original location, which means it now draws itself right through my detail number...
