I've spent too much time on it... and finally figured I could just delete the view and re-create the sheet.

You can also right click on a row and click "Delete Row"

I was having difficulties doing this. ^

But since I was in the view, I knew which one needed to be deleted from the Project Browser.

    Update:
Autodesk Development is aware of the issue and is working on it, though there is no timeline for the fix.

As a work-around, (if you can find the "drafting view" that the sheet became) delete the erroneous drafting view. This frees up the sheet number and you can (re-)create a new Sheet View.

This would be a good reason to ask everyone to add "Tags" to all the threads - It´s a great way to supplement the search function

So it seems that this kind of thing may becoming a bit more widespread? I had a titleblock family change into a detail component family FWIW. http://www.revitforum.org/showthread...vs-Detail-Item
