    Lost Sheet

I have a sheet that shows up in the sheet list, I can not make a new sheet and change it to the lost sheets number it says it already exists...I can't find it in the browser. Sheets have no filter and I have tried sorting them by scale and by number and nothing...

    What am I missing?

Could it be a dummy sheet that is from a linked model or something of that sort?

Sounds like a Support Request to the factory....

Is it a sheet with custom parameters for organizing it in the project browser?
If so, then maybe someone accidentally put a different paramenter on it and it may be under a category that you might never look into
If, not then I really can't think of anything else

I did a sheet list and listed all the parameters, they were all consistent and were all the same where expected. The parameter would go away when switching the sheet to "All" in the browser.

I havn't talked to Autodesk yet, but a few of the people I have talked to both said to go into the sheet list, delete the sheet freeing up the views, and recreate the sheet...

Instead of that I just recreated the views (duplicate with detail) and renumbered the ghost sheet so I could toy with it some more...

I have had a couple of isolated instances in 2011 where sheets somehow change view type into either sections or plans. There was nothing we could do to change the view type back to sheet. The bug was confirmed by Autodesk to be an isolated problem with 2011, although apparently very rare, not sure how many cases they have had reported

Edit: Actually checking the file with the bug again, the instance where the sheet was converted into a plan view meant the sheet was not present on the sheet list schedule, but I can get it to show on a view list with sort by sheet number

Screen shot of project browser below showing the sheet listed under plans

I just had an instance! My sheet turned into a Drafting View, but still shows in my Sheet list... Guess I'll submit a report to Adesk.

ETA: Where is the Submit an Error button!!! :banghead:

So it seems that this kind of thing may becoming a bit more widespread? I had a titleblock family change into a detail component family FWIW. http://www.revitforum.org/showthread...vs-Detail-Item
