Scale and Papersize on Sheet list ?

Anyone knows off an Addon that will allow me to transfer "Scale" and "Sheet Size" to my sheet list ? (Scale should be read be the views placed, and Sheet size could be a shared param)

It would be OK if it reads "As indicated" of multiple scales on same sheet, but would be nice to be able to customize the "As indicated" text.

    Thanks

    Hi Munkholm

I don't know of an existing addin that does this but it wouldn't be to difficult. I got 75% of the way through writing one that grabbed the Scale of the sheet and changed a graphic scale to suit, so alot of the code will be similar. When the pre xmas rush is over I can have a look at that for you.

    Cheers

      Phillip, that would be awesome!

It´s a very frequent request here in Denmark, so even though were a small country, I´m sure that you´d be able to make a few dimes on it

Started digging into the API a little, and believe that I´ve found the Built In Parameters needed:

        BuiltInParameter.SHEET_SCALE
        BuiltInParameter.SHEET_WIDTH
        BuiltInParameter.SHEET_HEIGHT

And the Building Coder have a post on how to Determine Sheet Size... But I´m stuck at how to get those Built In Parameters to show in the Sheet List :banghead:

I´d love to make this part of the "RFO Add-in" - But desperately need some help from you API Gurus... Any takers ?

My last day on my current project is next wednesday.... After getting 32 straight hours of sleep, I'll be diving into the API again and I'll be happy to help. If no-one beat me to it by then...

While not being a guru, You have to pass those titleblock parameters to the VisewSheet. I mean to a (text? or 2 length x and y ?) parameter that will have a typical "1111X2222" appearance.
I'll try to do some of that later on.

Only 32 hours ? Are you sure that will be enough ? LOL

Could not find the price tag... just that its´s a "great offer" Believe that I´d rather do some more :banghead: while learning something new, and to be able to share it with the Community here at no cost. But thanks for the link.

Sounds reasonably! Believe that the SHEET_SCALE is an Integer parameter, and the SHEET_WIDTH and SHEET_HEIGHT are Length parameters.
And what happens when if using an Integer for the SCALE, and the scale is returned as "As Indicated" ?
