    Issue with vertical pipe dimensions

    I've been wrestling with an issue while drawing vertical pipes for sprinkler drops to the right height.

    My method for adding pipes has been to right-click the pipe end; draw pipe; set the offset distance; accept.

    The problem is that the end offset draws exactly a foot lower every time. I've been working around this by accounting for it when I type an offset distance, but it would be nice to know whats going wrong here.

    When you set the offset distance are you entering the actual elevation you want the pipe to terminate at or the distance from the starting point? I would check the level the pipe is constrained to (this determines what the offset dimension is relative to) and remember that the offset parameter determines the final elevation relative to that level.
