I have an annoying one here. I am creating a complex concrete roof. It is part of a school we are working on. The roof is bacically a revolved surface, but with a picthed area to one side of it.
I have created the exact shape I want out of a mass, and this all works great. I have then applied my roof type to the faces I require and again, it works well I needed to change the rafter cut to square, but all good.
However.. I need to cut a chunk out of the ground / first floor that is inside the building, as this will be vertical walls etc..
When I do this, I get the roof in place as before, but I end up with one more "rafter edge".. This will not allow me to cut it off square.. I cannot get this to sort out properly. In my sections now, I get this large spike that shoots down into the building...
Any ideas on how to get over this would be great. I know in AA 2011, I could select the roof edge and tell it to be square, but I dont seem to have this in Revit..
