Add-in for time active in a project?

Does anyone know if there is an API add-in or a way to tell how much time you've actively been working in a project?

    Cheers,

    Mel

(any chance an administrator could move my post to the Third Party/API part of the forum....?)

Guess you should look at the journal files for this?

Is there an easy way to retrieve this information? I don't want to know when the file was opened and closed, but when and for how long a user was 'actively' in the file.

I'm almost certain that such an add-in have been posted here some time ago, but I can't seem to find it.

Try searching the forum yourself, or maybe it was on Augi? If the free one doesn't pop up somewhere, there's a commercial one available here.

Found it! Not just for Revit though, but should do the job.

(small commercial for Czech product :-) )

              Nice app Peter. Question:
Is it retroactive; will it track from the beginning of an already started project? I'm guessing not, but ya never know.

No, it will start to track the time after install the app.
