Guys,
The Alignment feature in Revit (new school osnap) works great for Revit modelled elements, however I can't seem to get it to work for CAD link drawings.
As an example, I'm placing a footing family element and using a CAD Link drawing as a reference for where to place it. I would like to place it in the centre of a square so i hover over the midpoint of one side (yes, it acknowledges and highlights with a purple triangle), I then hover over the other midpoint and get the same highlight. Now in AutoCAd the osnap feature will give me an inference line to follow and will find the centre of the square. This does not seem to happen in Revit.
Any ideas on what I need to do differently to get this to work?
Thanks heaps.
